Do Even children suffer from allergies?

The answer is yes - and a lot many ,even the incidence is increasing.

Pediatric allergies present in childhood which is reaction to indoor and outdoor allergens.

The body reacts to previously exposed and processed allergens and reaction are mostly IgE mediated.

Kids more then 2 years suffer from common indoor allergens like dust mites,pet danders, cockroaches ,molds,pollens etc and 4-6 years of age from outdoor

How they present?

Nasal discharge, change in voice ,asthma skin itching etc may have pus discharge from ear, itching in throat frequent clearing

How do we know?

The doctor ask you vital history and diagnosis is mostly clear. Sometimes may require blood test and allergen specific testing if allergen is known.

How do we prevent or treat?

We are in best situation if we come to know the allergen and can avoid that.

Medication may be require orally and intranasal. Some high end and emergency medicines may be prescribed if severe form are present and for emergency situation
