Sugarcane juice and health

Whenever we go outside in summer we tend to refresh ourselves with that sweet and lemon-tinged tangy sugarcane juice.

But do we understand the issues associated with this if we consume from unhealthy places?

Sugarcane juice is very good in various minerals like magnesium, sodium potassium few other minerals in traces, and amino acids. It is a good source of fiber, energy, and complex sugars which can be taken by all age groups and is refreshing along with nutritive values.

An issue arises when we consume and there is the mixing of contaminated water and this can lead to various diseases which are water-borne and instead of getting the health benefits one can fall sick and develop a disease like hepatitis, typhoid, gastroenteritis, etc

So next time you consume this, remember to have it from healthy hygienic places.
