Summer time and hydration

As we know summer is around the corner and we may just now be feeling cozy in the morning but slowly these are for a few days and slowly extreme heat will take over

So what we need to do

Hydrate ourselves

The various ways in which we can do it is

1.⁠ ⁠Keep drinking water at least one gallon of water daily and depending upon the work or outfield work we need to take more.

2.⁠ ⁠Take plenty of fruits like watermelon, grapes, and salads which contain fainted and a lot of water

3.⁠ ⁠Take juices and shake

4.⁠ ⁠Traditional lassi and buttermilk can also give us plenty of water.

5.⁠ ⁠Keep yourselves indoors in extreme heat and when heat waves are predicted

6.⁠ ⁠Especially kids need to be taken care of for fluids

7.⁠ ⁠Don't overdo exercise and extreme outdoor work. If necessary take breaks and drink fluids as advised.

In case you develop any symptoms of vomiting and diarrhea kindly consult a doctor near you and take the appropriate medicines

Watch for heat stroke, heat exhaustion

The best way to keep a watch on these is to watch for urine output

, the color of urine as well as the amount is an indicator of the hydration status of the body
